  • not a shabby deal at all, best I have got on 25gb disc is $5.50ea

    • But then this deal equates to $5.60 per disc, is Shintaro a good brand of blank BluRays?

      • IMO Shintaro=Princo, so I would avoid them.

        • where's a good place to get blank BD's from mate?

        • There no result from any seller on staticice that Princo Blu Ray Disc on sale.

The cheapest price for Princo DVD-R vs Shintaro DVD-R on staticice not included shipping (shipping extra)

$12.00 50 Discs Princo DVD-R 16X 50PK Printable Blank DVD MEDIA SkyComp Technology updated: 13-01-2010

          $15.00 Shintaro DVD-R Blank media 16x 4.7G (50) Printable PC GoGo updated: 14-01-2010

          • @[Deactivated]: Price should never only be considered to be a factor of quality. I could market something at a price of 300% over what its supposed to but does that mean quality is going to be better?

  • Kuric,

    Price included delivery Free Shipping

You can also submit your Best Offer!

  • I know some brand burners have compatibility issues with cheaper brands, check before you might commit

  • Kuric,

The brand Shintaro sell australia wide, go to your nearest computer shop/store, they will listed as premium product. Shintaro even sell higher price than Ritek.

for more info visit http://www.shintaro.com.au or Australia's premier IT distributor MMT

  • Might be an okay deal… but not the cheapest.. I bought cheaper ones before. Though I would not buy it, it is good to see the BD-R prices dropping.

If you don't mind eBay, have a look at:
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/10-Xlayer-BD-R-FF-Printable-4x-CHEAPE…

Appropximately $34-35 AUD for 10 BD-Rs. Thanks largely to strong AUD. Even if you buy 3 packs (so 30 discs) still come out to be cheaper.

!!!NOTE/WARNING!!!: I have not purchased from the eBay seller before. The reason for listing that is just to show people there are cheaper deals out there. Make sure you've done your research and be sure to read negative feedbacks and neutral feedbacks of the seller BEFORE you purchase the item.

You can get even cheaper ones if you are willing to participate in eBay auctions. However, because it is an auction, there is no guarantee that you will win.

Bear in mind that these cheap ones are made in Taiwan or made in India. That said, some (if not most) of them can be written at 10X (if you have a writer like Pioneer BDR-205).
