Stores may or may not have stock.
Pretty useless sale then.
It looks like the 'Minchinbury' thing refers to stores which are supplied by the Minchinbury Aldi distribution centre.
For the curious who want to know what the improperly redacted information is:
43340 BR: Jack Daniels & Cola 6pk 28/10/2015 $19.99 $18.99 -$1.00
47753 BR:Matilda Bay Brewers Bcase 4/11/2015 $21.99 $19.99 -$2.00
3941 Bath Mat R 50x80cm 11/11/2015 $16.99 $14.99 -$2.00
46249 BR: Frangelico Gift Pack 18/11/2015 $34.99 $29.99 -$5.00
The redacted store name is "Penrith 2" (there being two Aldis in Penrith)
LOL.. you're right, you can just highlight the "blackened" text, copy paste to notepad and see the lot.
Im sad how they dont do the wed/sat 50% thing anymore. Seems to be new strategy/management.
Havent seen a decent ie > 40% off in months.
Always enticed me to go into store.
Interesting take on Aldi on Gruen Transfer last night. Just an FYI.
One of their strategies they didn't mention - "store may have some or no stock", so you have to go in to have a look for it, then you buy other things
They all use that ploy
Who is "they"? Most places fall over themselves to make sure they have plenty of stock of sale items
@jellykingdom: We don't have an Aldi in my regional Qld town so maybe I misunderstood. Do they actually advertise with that phrase or (as I interpreted) are you saying they often don't have sufficient stock of sale items. The 'they' I am referring to are their direct competitors (Woolworths, Coles, IGA). I have gotten to the point where I ask for the managers to write-down alternatives to sale items that they have run out of within days of a sale starting. It sometimes even works. It may of course be a result of being on the end of the supply chain in North Queensland.

What works?
@pmupsinep: What works? Complaining. I can't tell you how many times my local IGA (where I have the most success) has had Coke or Pepsi varieties on sale in 24 or 30 can boxes but no actual stock. They have (for example) a price point stack at the end of the aisle of 24 can at $12 and only 30 can boxes in the pile and no 24's in stock. They will mark down the 30 can lot to shut me up to $15 or something like that. This particular example has occurred 3 times in the last 6 months. I have only done it a few times at Woolworths in regard to toilet wipes (the one on special didn't have the quantity I wanted). Supermarkets seem to be a bit more ready than other stores…probably because the quantities and cost are negligible and the good will (and getting the big, hairy, angry fat man out of the store) makes it worthwhile.
OP, your avatar reminds me of jv…
