The same one is selling for AU $3.88 shipped on eBay.

  • I bought a similar item recently for $1.57 USD (2.18 AUD)

I bought one, but it actually drops more voltage than the cable I was trying to test with it lol.

how can you know this? (this is not a criticism, I am genuinely curious)

      • +1

put it both ends of the cable, confirm measurements with a multimeter

When I try to measure the current and voltage of my wireless charger using this thing, the wireless charger starts dropping out and cycling on and off - which is what it does when the voltage/current is too low due to a crappy USB cable. When I remove this POS from the circuit, the wireless charger works fine with the USB cable directly. Therefore this device is creating its own bottleneck, which isn't really what you want when you are trying to find the bottleneck of the circuit.

Or use an Android app like Ampere?

      how is this cheaper?

    • Yeah, IF it works. Tried out on multiple devices of mine, never got it to work.

  • Just don't bring it to school, people will think it's a bomb.

Why not? You may get a chance of being invited by Thurnball to dine in Kirribilli House.

This one is worth the extra money IMO. More accurate, better display, shows mAh and mWh, can flip the display (super convenient).

    Sorry for mobile link

  • I love bang good, gearbest geekbuy, always have things that if you can afford to wait, are cheap to get e.g usb cables, torches, bike lights, TV boxes, etc, considering how much postage costs in Australia, it's a great way to get stuff if it's not urgent. Though l do wish they shipped AU power packs instead of US and then put a double adapter in the box.

When Turnbull says " disruptive technology" does he mean cheap postage from China compared to expensive postage from Austpost?
