Universal LED/Plasma/LCD TV Bracket Wall Mounts
A TV bracket is one of the best ways to place your television at an angle so that everyone can enjoy watching it. Whether you put it in the family room, living room, or bedroom, a TV bracket can let you add a bigger television without compromising space and without imposing on the decor of your home. TV brackets keep your high definition television firmly and safely attached to your wall or ceiling, freeing up much-needed space in your home. Unlike using a stand or a table for your television, a TV bracket can add a new decor to your bare walls without cluttering up the room.

LED LCD TV Bracket - $40 Delivered

$40 is cheap and it includes delivery !!!

    Their normal price is $57.99…

  • what could happen if i dont use this on a brick wall?

    • The bolts and what not is for a brick wall.
So in order to use it on plaster / stud, you'd need to get the correct mounting screws and ensure the weight capacity is also enough for your TV

what could happen if i dont use this ON a brick wall?

It is FOR a brick wall…

      Read the title…

      • Is the bracket specially designed for brick wall use only, or is it just the supplied mounting hardware that determines this?

    • Hi There,

The Wallplate for Brick Walls should be at least 600mm that's why this is not recommended for non brick walls.

      Regards

  • Stupid question… but it doesn't mention my tv size but it mentions sizes either side… I'm assuming that doesn't matter.

  • Pretty silly only supplying mounting hardware for a brick wall. If you supplied a few extra screws (like Selby Acoustics'), you open your market range up to the other 99.9% of the population that don't have internal brick walls!

Edit: Rep, why are you actually stating this product as FOR BRICK WALL ONLY? It doesn't state anything about brick wall on the product's page! And surely (like 2 of my big screens) it can be mounted across 2 wall studs?

99.9% of the population that don't have internal brick walls!

      I must be the 0.1% then… I feel special…

    • Hi Snoop,

The Stud spacing in most houses usually is 600mm that's why this is recommended for Brick Walls only.
most Offices and some houses have brick Walls, you can keep an eye on our website in the next couple month as we'll be getting a new model that can be installed on any wall. The Price might not be the same though but it will still be a Bargain

      Regards

re mounting on something other than brick - the wallplate itself is quite small, so not only would it not be able to spread the load over a greater area, you will have issues finding studs to bolt it on. Standard stud spacing in Australia is about 45cm (external wall) or 60cm (internal). The base plate is 34.5cm. On a non brick/concrete wall you would probably need to remove the plaster, add in another stud, and cover it back up again. Easier/cheaper to get a mount that works on the type of wall you have. Unless you absolutely need to be able to move the screen, personally I prefer a slimline mount for larger TVs eg $27.99 (inc shipping) for this: http://www.selby.com.au/brackets-and-wall-mounts/lcd-led-pla… or $19.47 for this: http://www.selby.com.au/brackets-and-wall-mounts/lcd-led-pla…

What kind of studs are there in Brick Walls ???

  • Looking at the specs and the picture the wallplate dimensions are (WxH): 345mm x 175mm. Stud spacings in most walls are 450mm or 600mm. so you would only be able to fix to one stud. For the wieght and leverage of a TV I would want it across two studs at least

There is no way anybody should be hanging an 80kg tv using $2 plastic wall plugs…WARNING this bracket must be installed using min 10mm masonry dynabolts.

    • +1

Good warning, a 20kg shelf barely stays up with those plastic wall plugs, no way I'd trust my $1000+ TV with them!

I may have gone overkill with the 10x 20kgs ones I used :D
