        • @leesangyee: The EGO is heavy because it's well built and has a huge battery, I've mowed the lawn 4 times and still haven't charged it, I think you need some weight on the mower to mow lawns.

    • I bought a Bosch Rotak 37LI cordless lawn mower, from Masters. It's bloody brilliant! (It's worth spending the extra five bucks for the model with ergonomic handles.)

    • masters now stock Honda mowers, pretty good with 10% off

    Any good deals on axes?

    • What are you trying to do with that ?

        there is this elf I don't like…

        • Did you mean your wife?

      • +13

He was just axing a question.

      • +6

Dont cut off his options, its almost like you have something to grind.

      • i'm hoping its not trying to find an alternate solution to cut grass like the poster above.

      Masters doesn't sell guitars dude

  • Does master still price beat on appliances? I am looking for a air-conditioning split system and wondering if they can price beat then apply the coupon for further 10% off?

    • +2

They will price match not price beat appliances. In terms of getting 10% coupon on top of price match, it depends on who servers you it is hit and miss.I had a situation where they had 10% off store wide and i wanted a price match, the first masters wouldnt give the 10% off the pricematched item but another store did… Luck of the draw

      • Thanks. I ll try my luck at local store

      • Also depends on customer representative. I went to Nerang masters, they wouldn't give free shipping, would only price match. I came back a week later, when they had a promotion on where they throw in a free Bbq if you buy the fridge. The guy beat the appliances online price by 10%, gave me free shipping. I sold the BBQ for an extra $400. After all that got the $2,500 fridge for $1,700.

All that from just a different customer rep at the same store.

        • Can you share more details about that?

Im looking at a fridge and this sounds promising!

        • @GLO:
Unfortunately it was about 2 years ago. So not much help. Sorry. But, luck of the draw, just try going in, act dumb and see of they'll price match. If not, say you'll think about it and come back later and speak with someone else. When I went in it was fairly busy and I spoke with some one who didn't sseem to know anything about appliances. Probably from a different department?

  • I bought something in Woolworth today but did not receive the voucher :(

    • Boo :(

    • Last time this offer was on, at Adelaide Masters they ignored the receipts and told customers everyone gets 10% off for the week.

    • The last few times i've been in Masters when they've been running the promos, they've had little cards on the service desk with the barcode on it - just go grab one. The staff have also come up to me to check that I knew about it.

    • +2

The op went to masters and got it on a masters recept, not woollies.

  • does it applys to appliances as well?

5% off via cashrewards.com.au. Stack those discounts!

      • Entertainment book also offer 5%. Thought maybe I could get more. I don't use cashrewards? Is it simple? How have you found it?

        • +2

Just sign up on the website and you get 5% off egift cards. I don't have an entertainment book (and don't feel like paying for one). Cashrewards is free and the discount is applied at the time of checkout.

  • I'm looking at a rover self propelled mower it is currently $100 off I wonder if this will end when the 10% off starts.

  • I got to give it to Masters, all these coupons/discounts lately are awesome.. However, they really need to introduce more product lines or better items. The last 20% deal, I spent 1.5 hours at Masters and my checkout basket was about $120 in total, couldn't find anything to buy! If I spent that long at Bunnings, my cart would be over $400… easily.

  • Thank you For posting. This is Perfect. I have $2000 worth of ewishcards that I wanted to use on Masters. I already had plans on renovating the bathroom. I was just waiting for the right time to go buy everything I need so this is perfect timing

  • Does anyone knows if current sale items will be discounted with the 10% code on Monday.

  • +2

awesome. Masters are having a 10% of turf / sir walter sale 10 - 16 sept. so this offer overlaps for the 14-16th.

    • Any idea what the 'per square meter' price of Sir Walter turf is? I've checked their website, and they don't advertise turf online.

      • price varies store to store. best to call.

        • For comparison sake it is $13.50/sqr metre in Canberra.

        • North Lakes (QLD) store price is $7.88 per 0.75m2 section, or approximately $10.51 per square meter. Was told that this price fluctuates so it may have changed since I called on Wednesday. Hopefully they won't do a dick smith and raise their price to offset the catalogue discount.

    • Always be wary of turf at masters\bunnings etc. If it was not delivered that day your going to have to work real hard to keep it alive.

If you are doing a substantial area you are best to buy it from the farm that grows it. They will harvest it the same day they deliver it to you.

  • Are we still getting this voucher after shopping at Masters? Actually masters marked up something online I want to buy, so I have to grab a genuine voucher for in store purchase. Any idea?

    • +1

Yes where do the original vouchers come from? Masters?

  • +1

I have used this coupon today even before start date by mistake but it works.

    • +1

I just tried it on a washing machine: "Promotion MASTERS10 successfully applied" but the price stays the same.

      • Oh, I used in store.

  • Could this discount be used on a kitchen?

  • I don't have any vouchers on hand. Is there a way to get 10% discount, if I go to store for shopping. Don't want to do on line shopping this time.

scan your items then hit the button to manually enter in an item. this will be the barcode as seen above: 9353 00184 7374

although i've never had a staff member breathe down my neck while doing this, i always pretend like i'm entering a barcode of one of the items i'm buying while having a sticky note with those numbers in my hand. barcode ninja ;)

      • Or just print out the bar code from the voucher and scan it.

        • in my experience, i've never had the barcode scan properly, even when i had the original receipt voucher

  • I can confirm this is working already in-store. Saved myself $45 dollars today.

    • Ditto, but does not stack with the "20% off plants".

      • What? Crap. does it say anywhere it cannot be used for plants?

  • +1

Rang Harvey Norman and they price matched Masters 10% off plus a bit more on a front loader - pick up for $760. Masters nor HN deliver to my area (for free).

I was tossing up whether to pay with Coles CC (price protection) but went with Amex for the extra 1 year warranty. Not sure if it was the right choice actually as I have to keep the Amex card now (I got the first year free) for at least three years. However I wonder how much further reduced it could go before the model is discontinued.

  • Went into masters today the current mower specials end tonight ….bugger

    • Read comments above; this coupon was already working.

  • Code not working online? Anyone experiencing this? I'm
Using masters mobile site. Will try desktop site soon

    • Me neither, not working in mobile site

      • Works on desktop site, need to enter email address first. Might work on mobile site if email address is entered.

  • Online - tells me code applied, but does not apply discount. Something is dodgy.

  • Worx Line Trimmer 20V WG169E.5 was $149 last week, so i thought id wait and get it today…. today it's $171 … from what i could see it was not on sale last week and it looked like it was the normal price. I'm sure there's lots of good bargains but seems sus to me.

  • Brings this combo down to $2405

    https://www.masters.com.au/pickedlist/masterforge

    • $2405 delivered. $2330 pick up.

  • hi guys, is this mower a good one to get?

  • How long does it take to get the egift cards bought through cashrewards? Keen to order somethings with this deal

  • Personally I think master's stores in sydney are so biased towards the western/southern part of the city.

Too far away for me. T_T

    • +2

Its to do with rent cost.

      • Agreed, that just means people in other parts of the city will just have to go to Bunnings..

    • same in Perth - they're all in the outer parts of the metro area. it's for a reason

      • That's where most of the new houses are going up. New houses = more sales.

      • +1

Not all. Bayswater outer metro? Only 9km drive from city.
Bibra Lake is quite central for SoR people.

Anyone know if Masters sells Google Play gift cards?

  • Any suggesstions for vacuum cleaners? Just need a basic one, small 2br unit with floorboards (no carpets)

    • Why bother? I would just get a broom and mop. Vac is mainly for carpet. You could get a little cordless one.

      • well, quicker and convenience factor only. Hence looking for your basic <$100 ones.

        • I don't see any convenience factor in a small unit. Storage, mucking about with power cords, … a quick sweep is easier. Unless you mean real floorboards? - old T&G with gaps in between.

  • Someone asked earlier and the answer is yes,

Cash Rewards discount (3.5%) and Masters discount (10%) were just confirmed by cashrewards.com.au to their email list.

I am sure there is a tool out there somewhere I need to replace!

    • "Rewards may not be payable if you pay by gift card or if you purchase a gift card"
So we might as well not use cash rewards when paying by our discounted wish cards?

  • MASTERS10 doesn't work on Masters EBAY site, but does work on their website.

  • Got a good deal on a rover pro cut 560 self propelled mower today …It was on sale yesterday for $749 $849 normal price. But today went back to $849 again and even with 10% off not as cheap as yesterday. I managed to find a mower shop selling it for $729 so i got a price match brought it down to $656 even less because i paid $400 of it with 5% off gift cards.

  • I tried on masters website and got this"The voucher code you have entered may already be in use and/or the maximum limit (for this promo code) was reached."

Is this for new customer only? as I applied this code during previous month promotion…

  • I just got message: "The promotion Promo code for MASTERS 10 % off is no longer available for the product xxxxxx in your basket."

    • Bit weird…You can always sign up for to masters and get a 5% off welcome code and purchase from cashrewards 5% off gift cards to get a total of 10% off.

      • You sure you can stack with the welcome code? Did you try?

        • Welcome code and 5% off wish cards… yes.
Welcome code and MASTERS10, unlikely. But that isn't what paulaus is suggesting.

    • +1

Seemed to work for me, just checking but did you have the space before the 10 as you have typed if so maybe the prob,.

    • +1

Try clearing your Web browser cache or trying a different browser.
Remember to re-sign-in to CashRewards.com.au after doing so, and visit Masters from inside the CR website.

I think I joined CR earlier this year, and have had over $90 cashback paid, plus another $40 or so pending.
Mostly from eBay and Dan Murphy's.
Worth it for a few seconds effort.

  • GP cement 20kg bags $4.95 in 2014. 2015 23.8% more at $6.50, well range is 6.00 - 6.70 for the cheapest gp cement bags at the two big mobs.

Now the other big mob have batison? gp cement 20kg bags for $6.50 (recently sale $5.75)

So masters $6.00 before discount, so $5.45% after, brought a few hundred kilos, Even if I don't use it this year I'll have them for the next project.

  • Masters Knoxfield has a promo on between 17th and 20th - 5th item free full price items only (could work out to be 20% off) and can't combine with this offer.

  • Just bought $229RRP Hitachi pressure washer for $117. Great reviews, should do a good job on my decks.

    https://www.masters.com.au/product/100941019/hitachi-pressur…

It says the clearance price is only available at the Knoxfield store.

    • How did you find the clearance price? trial and error..?

      • +1

Actually funny you should ask. I got home from work (finished at 3AM) and had the bright idea to look for something in the current ebay promotion thats slightly above the $100 mark.

After searching and fiddling for a while I realised Masters' search is kinda bad when it comes to clearance items because when you search by price it still lists them in among the other items that it would if the item was not reduced, eg. this pressure washer was around the $230 items, not the $130 items where it should have been.

So I found it because I decided to look to see which items were MOST REDUCED down to a figure above $100. My plan was to then enter the item in to the ebay store search to see if it was on ebay, but alas it wasn't. Since I need a pressure washer already and it was highly reviewed and a good price, I used this deal instead.

Hope you could follow my madness.

        • Yeah not a 100%, but here's a positive vote for the long right up!

  • Can you do the 10% off voucher and still get the ebay $50 voucher?
