  For those with existing bookings it may be worth re-checking if it's cheaper now with the 17% code, if the existing booking has free cancellation…

    Exactly what I just did - was lucky enough to find the same hotel with one of the same room available. I was advised by the live chat agent to book it first before canceling my old booking (which had free cancellation).

    Another tip is always to chat with the agent - they seem to offer 10% off pretty easily , which was what I got with the old booking. but 17% off code just saved me even more cash

  My discount ended up a round $120. I have a feeling this discount is capped at $120, because my discount should have been more. Still happy though, thanks OP.

    I can second this, I got a round figure discount of $120 off a booking that would have totaled $1586. The 17% discount should have been more like $269 off.

  The smart thing to do is to check all the different booking sites as often I find hotelclub a bit more expensive but it varies.Booked ith ebookers once and it was 30% cheaper than all other sites but you just have to spend time looking for that cost saving.

        I just go to their website and click the dates I am looking for.
        Two hotels I was looking at in Asia (both eligible for this promotion) are cheaper booking directly through the hotel's website.

  This discount code is ALSO working in the USA. I tried it for accommodation in Breckenridge, Co in March and it applied the $120 capped discount. Perhaps rather more importantly it also threw up a 35% reduction in the rack rate for 8-13 night stays this northern winter (see below). Now that IS a worthwhile discount!!
