      You can't. This one is only for things that will run directly on a smartphone, so either an App or a video.
      For PC or console games you will need one of the full on VR headsets like an Oculus rift or Sony Morpheus.

      The problem would be the divider, if it's removable then any video playback app should be fine. If not then I guess it would have to display a most likely out of aspect image on both sides, either that or severely zoomed or letterboxed image. Hopefully the divider is removable!

        No I meant with an app that will split the video into two so it can be watched with a virtual glass that gives a large screen cinema experience. I know there a few apps out there just don't know which one is the best.

          I get what you're saying, but I still think that 2D content would be best viewed without the divider and without it being split - that way you get the full res instead of it being halved and then letterboxed etc. I'll look into it some more, perhaps the way the lenses are set up it wouldn't work that way anyway, I don't know yet.

          This looks pretty cool and certainly something I'll be trying. It seems to accept 2D content, 3D SBS and 3D Top/Bottom. I'm sure there will also be apps that don't stick you in a virtual theatre, just a matter of tracking them down. Perhaps with this one you can turn the theatre off, yet to find out.

    $13.95 for me not including Cash Rewards so take that from the price. Also I live in the midldle of OZ & postage usually cost a bundle to the way I look at it I paid postage & got the VR for free!

      You'd require a lot of things for Virtual Reality, i.e. screen would need to be at higher resolution (I've heard people complaining about pixelations with Gear VR even). You'd require better ways to convey sound (this one doesn't have anything so you need a bluetooth headset or your own headphone), which also has a problem on its own.

      Think of this as a toy, I think that's the way you should think about it, if you want one and don't want to be disappointed (I actually like mine, so meh).

      Same here. My last gearbest order had shipping confirmation after only 2 days. It does say on the product page that it will dispatch in 5-10 business days, so I guess they don't actually have stock on hand.

          I ordered my on the 12th. It's still sitting in processing as of a mi ute ago. Honestly had forgotten about it until just before when going through my emails. Pretty slow to ship these out for the most part it seems.

          But since some people have received the orders already I think you must be right about the first batch missing out and waiting on the next batch.

    I got mine! The field of view was a bit smaller than I expected. Certainly no Oculus rift replacement but it's around 3 times better than using the paper cardboard variant.

    The lenses did not focus as sharply as I'd like it to be. Not sure if it's because of how the lenses are shaped, but there is some noticeable blurring around the edges.

    The magnet is nice and strong — it comes with a dual sided 3M sticky tape thing to stick on the inside of the unit nice and tight.

    I've read a few reviews of the different brands. I ended up getting a brand called Colour Cross. Better lens and better compatibility with different sized phones up to 6" screen size.

    I cancelled as well. Also i ordered chuwi hi8 tablet and paid for expedited shipping.after waiting a week and still getting processing message i contacted them. They said no stock at the moment and will be another week for getting stock but no guarantee of that either. So i cancelled that as well. Never gonna order from them again.
