  • How much is the EV certificate ongoing?

  • +2

A Comodo EV SSL can currently be renewed for $180.13 AUD or $129.00 USD ( for 1 year, cheaper per year when doing 2 )

but you don't HAVE to renew the EV SSL. This special is to try an EV SSL on your site and see if the Green Bar does any benefits such as increasing sales due to more customer trust. So if it does benefit your site, you can renew it. If not, just get a standard SSL :-)

  • Expect quite a bit of disruption in the SSL space as Let's Encrypt readies itself for a September launch with FREE SSL certificates.

    • we have no concerns over the free SSLs offered by lets encrypt as they are very limited in what they can do and what they offered. they are only for the basic needs of securing a single website.

  • Does the full address of your business show under the trust details? Some certificates don't show your address, some do. Looking for one that is an extension validation certificate, but doesn't show the address of business, only postcode/suburb etc.

    Thanks.

    • extended validation does show the business address if someone looks at your SSL Certificate details ( hardy no one ever does )
you want just a standard domain validated one to not show the address.
Or request the CA to use something like your postal address instead if you need an EV SSL

  • I just try it, SSL is working but I don't see green Bar, please advise?

    • i have replied to your support request with what you need to do.

  • for anyone interested in this. please do read the page where it says what to do to receive the EV SSL. Getting a lot of support requests from people requesting information which is stated on the page. so please read the page.
