can you use this to lock 2 bikes if you stack them together?

  If you can get the bikes close enough together, it shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, go for a cable lock, or use this lock with a chain.

  Its rare to find any lock still using tubular pins since 2004. Most were recalled and exchange by the big brands.

    not like the standard locks are any better (seach for key bumping on youtube)
    Both styles work great for stopping the casual thief, neither will stop a determined one.. just my $0.02

  This lock has a different weakness. See how the lock mechanism sticks out from the U-piece?
  Not good. But still better than a chain or most cables.
