For anyone who has a stone age video camera ( mine just celebrated it's 12th birthday ) and have lost their FireWire cable grab one of these. Judging by the packaging fading they have been in a warehouse for 12 years. I wonder where Big W get this drop zone crap from ?

Can anyone tell me if there are any converters between 1394 Firewire & USB or other common ports. I've video cam with Firewire but no such port on laptop….any advise pl….

I remember when Firewire was released. Transfer speeds were astronomical at the time.
