@chinezejew: I don't think you can buy more than one on the same mobile number but you can try. I wouldn't recommend getting a new number. As it may come preactivated, its ready for use as soon as you buy it.

1month amaysim, use a $30dolla telstra sim until out of data/credit (cost 50c), port back to amaysim.
still not bad just for using 5gb data in 1st month

When you purchase a sim from them, can you hold onto it without activating it for a while, or does your time start ticking the moment you buy it?
Has anyone really tried to port in and out of Amaysim just to get these "new customers only" offers? I am with them now on this plan and want to try porting to Aldi $5 sim, then coming back again…Just want to hear from peeps who have done this and any issues encountered…

Just bought one.
I took up the Amaysim $1 for 1GB offer, they activated my card and sent it out to me. Online it said I had 22 days remaining when I put it in my phone, then I got an SMS to the effect of "we noticed you only just started using your sim, so we are starting your 30 days from today"
So seems they've changed their policy, thought it may be useful to others.
