I didn't look at Wii and it doesn't seem to be advertised anywhere. But there was a report yesterday on http://ecogamer.com that JB HiFi had Rock Band Beatles at $39 for PS3. It was labelled at a higher price but scanned at the lower price.

I can confirm it is actually labelled $39 at my local store and picked up a copy for 360.

Update: I also just saw on ecogamer that the Full Band bundle is only $150 at Game.

    i called up my local store, the guy told me he just sold a ps3 beatles rockband for $369…i then mentioned i saw it on the website…he spoke to his manager and yep…$150 it was - managed to get the last PS3 bundle at that store put on hold for me.

    hilarious though, cos the guy then said he just put the last xbox360 bundle on hold for himself.

    excuse my ignorance but for the Wii version of this game, does it come with any peripherals or just the game itself on the above website?

      Game only.. they always specify any controllers if there are any.

    Yep - it's the full kit for $150, Game, Drums, Bass, Mic & mic stand. Excellent value - I picked up an X360 copy today in QLD.

    Drums are much better quality than the original rock band 1 stuff that I've got.

    I like the mic stand as well.

        i didn't look thru ecogamer very much that day…but i did notice that someone had mentioned it on the "Bargain Chat" box.

        Bit off topic…managed to pick up Sing It: High School Musical 3 (incl. 2 microphones) last night from Game for $40. Strangely, it's the same microphones they were selling in the Beatles Rockband + microphones bundle right alongside it for $90.

        For those interested, I tested them and the microphones work with the Beatles Rockband gear so now I can have up to 3 ppls singing along.

        Gonna trade-in the game and get one/some of Singstar games for the GF instead.

          thanks for the link! i called up every single Game store that I could drive to and they were all out of stock for the Wii bundle.. so I decided to try my luck and see if my local JB/DSE could price match.. I took a print out of the link to JB, they were all out of stock too.. (they have it for $199).. DSE next door have it for the same price with 2 in stock.. asked if they price matched.. the guy was like "yeah we do but we'll have to call them up and check".. I showed him the print out and he's like "oh I think a print out is fine".. so he went to talk to his manager and said yep they can price match

          in the end I got a Beatles Rock Band Wii Bundle for $149 @ DSE :)

          as a side note, do SingStar microphones work for the Wii?

            with regards to your question…that's a good point…they're all USB and all.
            i have a Wii with GHWT & Rock Band 2…it'll take me a few days to try it out but i'll let you know.

    Wasn't able to get the game only from JB Doncaster.

    They said they have never stocked it before… I think I might of just encountered a typical JB worker though.

    $150 for the Beatles bundle was/is a great price (looks to be $199 now and impossible to find).

    I just got the EB Wacky Wednesday $88 Rock Band 1 Xbox 360 instrument pack with AC/DC track pack.
    Will pick up both Rock Band and the Beatles: Rock Band from JB as its a really good price.
