I used similar sim cards in my pocket wifi for a long time. All good.

They work in all devices, you just need to use adaptors.

I got a Telstra iPad sim from Aus Post a few months ago and it was a nano. So if you have an adapter you can use it.

    • did you go to the Bathurst St PO in Sydney?
    • do they have any left? If so, rough idea how many?
    • what is the expiry date on your pack?

    Thanks!

  • Note that you can generally get these activated as normal $30 voice data sims by talking with someone on online chat. That way you can use it for Google Play credits

How do you use multiple sims?

    • +1

Personally, I just collect them and use them as miniature playing cards because I can't fit more than one in my phone at a time - unless I put them in the battery compartment, but then the phone won't turn on because there's no battery.

The wiki has some ideas as to how other people use them.

  • Checked two POs. One store had them, the man checked the current catalogue (because he thought I was lying??). I asked him to scan to check, and I was told they were $30 still…. He then offered me 5% discount for it ….no thanks

    • You may grab the wrong sim? I remember there are 3 types of prepaid sim. Mine is just for data, cannot make calls. Obviously $30 start kit can be used for all purposes, and it's not on promotion.

  • https://www.telstra.com.au/online-shop/res/images/devices/ta… Is it these ones? Because that's what I was looking for. Do tell me if it's not the one you bought.

  • My local in Brunswick 3056 VIC hadn't heard of them

  • Plenty at burwood plaza NSW. Scans for $5, there are alo signs up.

  • None at Marion SA despite advertising, anyone else find any in SA before I ring HQ?

  • Saw these in my local post office today.
