After looking at the $99 Samsung tablet I decided to see what else Telstra had and found the nexus 9 WiFi version for $399 even cheaper if you have Cash rewards , amex ect

Huh, TIL Telstra has an ebay account. Not a bad price on the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact at $499 (well, maybe not compared to some alternatives, but for this tablet it's pretty good). Same price as the US.
The Z3 Compact Tablet has a RRP of $499 from Sony Stores. Retailers actually seem to be higher on this.
EDIT: Actually, that was a couple months ago. With the AUD, that has probably changed.
Hmmm, yeah I see on Sony's site that it's $499, though I could've sworn it was higher on release… especially considering things are basically never the same RRP in Australia compared to the US. shrug
