    I've never had Zambrero and love GyG. Do you think the food quality is as good as GyG?

      It's… different to GyG. Different ingredients, Zambrero has "fresher" style burritos/bowls with more salad and lighter toppings. I like both but neither are substitutes for the other.

        Just tried the powerbowl and I see what you mean - it's definitely different to GyG but I still enjoyed it. The beef is good and Forbidden rice is nice!

      When one of the Brisbane CBD Zambreros opened their doors they had $5 days. I ordered a burrito bowl, it had guacamole extras included in the $5.
      I found it slightly less filling than GYG but it had more ingredients and extras that weren't free on GYG. If both places offered $5 meals I would have picked Z more often.

  saw this on their billboard this morning.
  You cant miss the store, look for the two big industrial bins out the front (I am guessing there is still some build work going on)

  and dont forget..
  For every burrito or bowl purchased at Zambrero, a meal is donated through distribution partner Stop Hunger Now, which distributes food to those in the developing world.

  Guess I'll go for a drive and give them a shot? I had what was objectively a terrible burrito at their cairns store a month ago, lets see if they can get it right or is GYG still getting all my casual Tex Mex $$$ until MAD MEX gets it act together?
