    highly rated by who? I wonder why they bother with PID temperature control when they just use a thermal coil.

      The temp for steaming is different to the temp for brewing, for a consistent brew every shot

        i was referring to intra-shot temperature stability of a thermal coil as opposed to something with a larger thermal mass like a boiler. Even with an aggressive pit tuning the temperature would still be all over the place
