I was given one of these at work for a few weeks. Just awful to use. Like a weirdly weighted laptop where the screen is 50% of the weight of the unit. The one I used didn't have USB ports build into the screen unit, either, so if you took it anywhere you needed to bring the base station anyway to use a keyboard/mouse/thumbdrive/etc

For the money - buy a Surface 3 or Surface Pro 3.

  Well obviously you didn't use the same one since this one has a USB 3 port down the bottom. The cheapest Surface Pro 3 is a around $1000, has a i3, comes with half the storage, and doesn't include a keyboard dock (this dock also has another battery). Granted surface has better screen resolution, I would still go with HP as it's a much better deal.
