Burwood Coles (VIC) is selling the Telstra $30 Nano/Micro SIM prepaid pack for $10 clearance (3GB).
Not as good as the Target offer of 50 cents but perhaps the next best thing for those looking for these.

Unlikely, it's a 24 hour store and some ozbargainers work 24 hours around the clock
interestingly, those kmart ones are now 25 cents. I found one at a local but they wouldnt sell it to me as they assumed it was a pricing error

coles have an offer at the moment where you can buy a $30 prepaid sim for phone/tablet for $1 when you shop $30. How are these different to the $1 ones?
Technically, only just the packaging is different. It's the old one which I believe they are clearing because of the sooner expiry date. I believe you can activate it anyway (mobile or iPad plan).
And of course they cost $10 compared to $1, but without the buy$30queueandfindoutiftherrarranymore$1simpacks ninja stunt.
Ah just ask at the service desk before you do your shop..
Being old stock, expiry is short. So little use for stocking up to use in future .
I'd suggest it would be better for many to spend $31 for $30 needed food etc & also get a Starter Pack expiring in 2017, than spend $10 on just a Starter Pack with stated short expiry. Available at most Coles.
Plenty of stock of $1 packs near me. Just ask at the service counter. Some staff can check the app on their phone or scanner to check stock levels in nearby stores, warehouse, and expected delivery date.

I have been stung twice in 72 hrs at Coles with the $30 deal… 2 different stores…ah yeh sorry we don't have any stock at our store:(.
This is the nano-SIM deal available in a store in Victoria.
Did you ask them which other local stores have stock, or when they are restocking during the limited stock promotion. Some staff gave an app on the phone or scanner to give those details. Seen plenty of stock in Brisbane.
Still 10 days left on that promotion ;-)
