The code is e-mailed. what would the insurance be for :S and $40-$45 seems to be the sale price of gold atm, so this seems like it would be a good buy?
The keys are sold by third parties on g2a (like ebay), so the protection is if the seller fails to provide the product (eg if the keys are stolen and microsoft cancels them or something). I've bought a couple things from g2a without the protection and haven't had any issues.

Just created an account to post here and advise I'd bought a code and it was invalid. Would not recommend this deal.
Error on Xbox Live website: "This code has already been used"
Submitted a dispute on G2A for invalid key, apparently it gives the sellers 9 days to respond. Who knows what will happen… But I wouldn't recommend this deal. While G2A might mean well and have good reviews online, the sellers they promote (and list as 100% legit) are well… yet to be proven.
Also received the "Code already used" error.
Would not recommend buying but if you're feeling saucy, at the very least opt-in for the insurance.
I have purchase xbox subscription with promo code PKEYS. After code is applied it cost 41.46 AUD. When I tried to make payment by card it fail first time and it successes second time. But second time product cost was 42.74 AUD, so it seems that promo code PKEYS was not applied.
Also when i choose to make payment by paypal it came up with Payment fee 2.41 AUD, so I changed the payment method to card. When I selected payment method as card payment fee disappear so I as expecting I will be charge only $41.46 AUD. But this wasn't the case I was change 45.15 AUD. It wasn't mention anywhere and it wasn't clear that there was payment fee of $2.41AUD. I think it is unfair to charge my card with higher amount then shown on screen.
Update: I got response from G2A, they give me replacement code for one time use for my next order. I am not sure if I am going to order anything again from this guys.
Just to follow up on my comment earlier:
I got a response on the dispute claim, the seller provided another code, which worked. 12 months renewed.
While it was great that it was followed up and had a positive resolution, I probably wouldn't go through this process again. Live and learn, I guess.
I had the same thing happen to me. Second code they sent through the dispute claim worked fine.
i have used G2A in the past, and have not had any issues. i must have missed this deal, it is coming up at AUD$48.05, spewing as i was only just looking at this on Monday
