Not a deal as such but if you want to buy it without any mark-up by third party sellers you can buy it off Amazon as a digital code using a random USA billing address.
My current code (I paid $54 for :( ) runs till October.
Do they run consecutively if I activate a new one?
If they do, better to buy now while less than $45 or wait closer to October? (IOW this sort of price should be around by then as well?)

Yes, if you use the new code while your membership is still active, the 12 months will be added to the remaining months.
Yes, Gold live are stackable up to 36 months.
So you could get it now and user it, your expiry date should update to Oct 2016.
Another option is to get the code now, wait until Oct to use it, but you won't be able to validate that you have been given a valid code for 7 months.
Note that this does not apply to trial code, which are not stackable.
