one way or return?
one way
What?
Hahaha thats really weird analogy mate.
ummm, what's the difference with AirAsia or Scoot promo? Looks like the are partnering together with Visa (Visa maybe offsetting some of the cost? - just my thinking, no expert here)
Not sure about international flights but domestic flights are horrible. Flights gets delayed everyday between Manila and Cebu. Worse airline ever(IMO).
$149 price is one way only so not as cheap as it has been in the past.
Australians should visit philippines, beautiful country and majority speaks english.
Baluuuuut, penoy!
Boracay is beautiful, would love to go back…
Paid $161 return syd to manila for July and $199 return for trip next week which i only booked 1 month ago so these prices are not so good.
We cant all get the best prices all the time. $330 (180 + 140 odd)return sounds tempting for me especially when travel time is pretty wide for this promo - June to Dec….
Thats ok if you live in Sydney but i have to trip from Brisbane so that's another $90 return to add on. Then $50 return from Manila to Cebu. So it all adds up. Wish they had direct from Brisbane or Goldie to Manila or Cebu.
Just last night my flight was cancelled and I imagine quite a few others were too from looking at the available once-daily SYD_MNL flights. By default they push you to the next available flight which in my case was the next day. They probably couldn't fill enough of the flight and attributed the cancellation to "schedule realignment". Frustrating when you've already booked an onward flight.
Here are the official options when you get screwed (that were introduced after the over-booking stink up last Christmas - http://business.inquirer.net/184950/cebu-pacific-fined-p52-m…):
•Rebook without charges for travel within 30 days
•Put in Travel Fund ticket value without penalties (except for KOREA flights)
•Refund without penalties
Note that if available (and given sufficient warning) that includes a flight replacement up to 30 days before the date of departure as well that you can use for onward flights after staying in a cheap hotel/hostel in Manila at your own costs. You can only make a free change to your departure date or get a full refund once (returned to your CC after 10 days). On the one hand you don't want to make a rash decision but on the other hand tens or hundreds of people may have been cancelled around the same time and may compete for the same seats departing on near dates. If you paid more than $149 since you missed the last sale then I suppose you can actually save money by booking a new flight and claiming a full refund.
They seem hesitant to discuss onward flights (I rang twice and the whole process is very tightly scripted) so if you're genuinely screwed with timing custom connecting flights last minute and all flights are with Cebu it may be worth escalating the call (or fork out a load of money should insurance not cover you).
What does 'all-in' mean if it's not return?
Just realised all good
thanks guys
