        • @rmk: for click and collect seems they don't cancel due to the store staff wasn't aware of the situation compare with delivery order that was sent to centralized warehouse which is the staff might want get some credit from his/her boss :)

          @rmk: Sorry to hear you are a fellow cancellee. Mine was click and collect. The whole process with this deal was a bit haphazard. I have to admit that I thought it too good to be true upon lodging the order.

        No it's not. They advertised ~41 cents per roll (10 clams for 24 rolls), and it's only when they 'realised' (shall we say) that they were being overwhelmed with cunning OzB code-stackers en masse that they pulled the plug. Even then, they still honoured some of the ridiculously under-priced orders.

        So they did not 'cancel all orders', and they are not sending 'no refunds'.
        ERGO, your post is alarmist BS.

    • Yeah I just received the same email (2211hrs) stating I will receive a 0.00 refund. Scratching my head a bit at that!

      I think it shows $0.00 because they didn't take any money yet. They will release the money on hold. At least thats my guess.

    Not sure in which way woolies cancelled orders as i saw someone loading a trolley with quilton for a Ozb. Felt quite good even though mine was canceled

  • Their "low stock" excuse is BS. I was at a WW tonight and nightfill had pallets upon pallets of Quilton 8 pack. You could built Fort Knox with the amount they had (and this was just one store).

  • those who had an order cancelled by woolworths, sorry but:

    • did it include anything other than quilton?
    • was a new account used?
    • were multiple accounts used to order/cancel/reorder?

    i cancelled a $25 order for 16x8pk@$0.20/roll, after placing another $25 order for 16x8pk@$0.08/roll that included other items totalling more than the quilton which i collected today, using different old/existing accounts

    btw disadvantage of delivery over collection is that multiple orders to the same address can be identified

    • Only quilton and click n collect for 2nd may but order cancelled.

    • Quilton only (click and collect) on my existing account which has been established for sometime. My first Quilton order some months ago was successful - cancelled this time as 'out of stock'.

      Same. I most certainly did not contact them about cancelling anything. Would it kill them to give an explanation rather than just send a generic cancellation message.

  • I think they filtered and cancelled all the order which has only Quilton and honoured others. I picked up my order which has only 15 Quilton

    Mine just arrived. Think there was a mistake though, i received 33x8 packs and another 7x24 packs!! So 432 rolls total. I also had some other groceries delivered too, which may have helped them not cancel it. Thanks tonester!!

    Mine also just arrived. Came down to greet the driver, and saw full to the rafter truck with Quiltons!

  • Just dropped by the one at Tea Tree Plaza and they only honoured the parts of the order that were not Quilton related, the manager said that they've been told not to put those packs through because of the online system error. Oh well, at least they apologised.

    Managed to pick up my order without any dramas from Woolworths Kallangur this morning.

    36X8 packs and a can of Heinz Tomato Sauce - all up $25.16

    now to make some space to store it somewhere in the house !

    • I got the same… I phoned them up saying that I've paid for delivery, but only a fraction of my order has been delivered which makes it uneconomical. They then gave me a voucher for future free delivery.

      • It was my first ever online order with Woolworths so I got free delivery anyway. Can't haggle with them on that :) oh well at least I got some in the end.

  • Sigh … Just got the "out of stock" email. They aren't supplying any. Oh well, still need loo paper but I'll be going to Coles lol. They could have at least sent the maximum amount allowed as they are still delivering everything else. Guess they didn't want to miss out an order altogether.

    I dont think there not supplying because its too cheap. They supplied most of my TP. If it's out of stock its out if stock. They didn't count on the amount that was gonna be ordered.

    Coles on the other hand the lady there named Edie canceled my account

      People have said who received out of stock notifications that stores had plenty of stock (when they were doing pick up), I call BS on these emails. They could have at least been honest and said pricing error. Not that I expected to get them anyway. I shall swing past my closest woollies which would be the one that my order would have come been delivered from and will see if they are actually out of stock!

        We had two picks up for the same store but different pick up times. First order was fine, second was cancelled and there was plenty of stock to fill our other order. Rather them say it is a loss to them than not enough stock.

    Did they refund onto the card ? My email said the refund will be in the form off store credit.

    • I paid via gift card. They gave me a code to use on my next online purchase.

      • I was hoping to get the money back on a gift card. I don't shop on Woolworths online so have no need in the code

        • My issue with getting a credit for use on next online purchase is you need to pay a delivery fee ($11 in my case) to be able to use it.

          I have an issue with it too. Everywhere else, when you return something, they always credit you in the same way that you paid, but Woolworths try to have you believe that the only way is to credit your account. I called them today and they can send you a gift card if you insist. Only thing with this is, that it could take 7 to 14 days for you to receive your card. (or maybe never, if it gets lost in the mail)

          Also, I believe that once the Woolworths system takes your money, Woolworths should be obliged to supply the goods. If the goods are not available, they should provide you with a raincheck.

          My email advised that a few items were out of stock. I was provided a coupon code to the value of the refund, that I can use for my next online purchase.

          I have never used an egiftcard so I am not sure how they work but maybe the credit is able to be put back on to your gift card.

          If it is not there, call the 1800 number and ask them what is happening with your refund.

          Woolworths online have been so inconsistent with these orders. Some got their orders and some didn't. Some got cancellation notices and some were advised that the items were out of stock (which is probably not true).

  • Got my 3 orders canceled, but still got charged for all 3 and received 2 emails letting me know I will get refunded for $0.00. The money isn't on hold anymore, they have cashed it today…

    Since it's just the missus and I then i think we'd be lucky if we use 2 rolls a week. That means we have a 3 year supply of toilet paper! Maybe a bit less taking into account friends and family staying over every now and then. LOL

      Funny, it seems that they are saying that they will credit your gift card. They provided me with a code to use on my next order. I called them and they told me that they can also send me out a new gift card. I would rather them credit the amount back to my gift.

  • I received my order tonight but it was only 10 packs at $1.93/pack. My husband answered the door and said "woah that's a lot of toilet paper"… And the delivery guy said "yeah, everyone's gone crazy ordering LOTS of toilet paper"… Ahahaha. Maybe OzB's in my area didn't get their orders cancelled (Ryde, Parra, NSW)? Seems like he'd been delivering TP all night.. i should've tried looking in the back of his truck.. LOL..

    And just FYI I did order some other things too… Not just TP..
