Sounds like you enjoy the finger going through the toilet paper :)

        yeah extra lube

      100% agree.
You end up using more than you would otherwise because you can’t feel what you are doing…lol
Well this is something I never envisioned myself discussing in public.

  • Thanks OP. My arse loves this.

Anyone know why this (and other items) don't show in stock at all for me any more?
Did amazon change where certain items can and can't be shipped to?

I don't even see any options to add to cart.
    Here's what I see https://i.imgur.com/lsrOURE.png

I've had this happen with all kinds of amazon deals posted here.

    • +11

Yes that's excatly what amazon did. If youre outside if some eastcost central delivery zone then your prime means jack and you cant get bulky items

      • +1

        :( Bugger.
        Thanks for the info.

Not just bulky items. Can't get cheap shampoos or half the things we used to get anymore. It's bullshit.

      • That’s ridiculous, fair enough maybe they can’t offer next day shipping ect but you should still have access to deals.
If I was you I’d be asking for a refund on any prime membership as without those offers it’s hard to justify but then again maybe it’s still a good deal if you buy enough general purchases but personally it’s all the special offers or bulky supermarket price match offers with next day delivery that make it worth while for me and I’m close to Melbourne.

Yep, has happened in the last couple of months.
Everything I used to be able to get through Prime free delivery is no longer.
I am about 20-25 minutes outside of the city where I am.
Will be cancelling Prime at the end of this cycle as it's not worth it.

I think its a product of very poor packing and the shipping contractors (toll) handling technics. i.e. to many returns and or freebees due to damage.

      • +4

I've ordered it a few times and they usually just slap the shipping label on the toilet paper. No box or anything else.
        Never arrived damaged to me.

        • metro or via toll regionally ? I've had quite a few torn plastic bags with dirty rolls.

        • Packing issues for sure.
Label just slapped on a box of coke. Or coke in another box with a crupmpled sheet of paper for packaging…

        • Yes they added a little option box on bulky items where you have to check it to have items put in a box otherwise it defaults to just using the retail packaging. While I’m all for reducing packaging so many times things turn up damaged/soiled without that extra layer so I always check that box now even for 10 packs of drinks which you’d think would be ideal for shipping as is.

If you have Prime membership and live outside a major city it has been downgraded to a "Sub-Prime" membership and is not worth it anymore.
I complained and they cancelled and refunded the remainder of my membership fee.
They haven't changed the terms and conditions and they don't want it advertised that they no longer deliver to regional areas.

      I couldn't even get yesterday's 500gm MSG delivered. It's everything now.
But it still says prime delivery free on the product page.
      So annoyed.

thanks OP, bought one for my ass

Doesn't the double length work out to be a little cheaper from what I can see?

  • Does 4 ply mean you dont need to double up when layering? It could work out cheaper per wipe if you only need a single piece per wipe rather than doubling over.

Sounds like some research is in order.

    • Depends on size of things

I use Quilton 3 ply - 1 square per wipe - average about 6-8 single squares to clean - unless I ate something particularly fatty and it 'takes more' - for more turgid stuff pressing in risks break-through so I use more of a wipe action than pressing until the last square or so - but 2 of those squares might be to soak the last drops from the front end as I sit to pee (recommended for enlarged prostate with most guys over 50yo)

by the way, AFAIK Quilton pioneered 3 ply in Australia - before that Sorbent and Kleenex were all max 2 ply 'luxury' - Quilton captured the market with better quality, 3 ply, and cheaper - a Vietnamese businessman I believe who has since sold so who knows the future when new managers typically seek to increase profits by reducing the quality - until customers stop buying and then it's "how did that happen … !?"

I could afford this deal of 4 ply at 42c/100 sheets, but I'm happy with the 3 ply at 31c/100 sheets - https://www.coles.com.au/product/quilton-3-ply-white-toilet-… - so meh.

hmm - just read this - '3 ply toilet paper is usually more absorbent and less likely to tear, while 4 ply toilet paper is thicker and more durable. Ultimately, it is up to you to decide what is more important – absorbency or durability.' - https://multirange.com.au/difference-between-toilet-paper-pl…

ahm thinkin' I maht prefer 'more absorbent and less likely to tear' … ;-)

  • Cheers.. Perfect timing for a re-stock!!

    I thought S&S doesn’t earn cashback

  • Any chance these will go lower with Prime deals coming up?

    • +1

Necessities like loo paper are generally not the focus of the Prime deal advertising blitz ,especially from leading suppliers.
