Yea… It's ~$70 to return.
Appears to be a lot of options to do Melboune to Christchurch return for under $192 (Say $250 with luggage and fees).
Bundles such as Plus/Max seem to be broken atm, they aren't listing jetstar vouchers or qantas rewards.
I just searched return to syd-honolulu for $433. how isn't this on the front page…?

So 3 weeks ago I booked the exact same flight to Queenstown ex. Melbourne for the ski season. This was 29 Aug - 6 Sept. $500 return w/ 20kg luggage and seat selection.
Currently on sale for $390… Pretty annoyed - but I wanted to book an early bird ski pass at the same time as my flights (early bird offer expired 31 March). Can't get Jetstar to refund the difference. Ah well. Great bargain to be had here for skiing in August!

Cheapest fares to date for MEL - HNL during Oct/Nov direct on the Dreamliner this year. Just booked the family yearly trip. :) Thank you OP as I have been tracking this route but haven't got an email from Jetstar yet indicating this cheaper price which is interesting.
