          It’s OK if you stay away from the Todd and don’t hang about the shops. Anyway, you are going there to hire a car and head off to the rock, Palm springs and all the gorges along the McDonnell Ranges

    Good to see that it costs more to fly Canberra - Sydney than to fly Canberra to Brisbane or to Adelaide or Gold Coast or Melbourne. Given that the flight is just so much longer…

      Not great but not horrible?

      6hr+ flight from the east coast on a narrow body aircraft (737 Max 8), a meal, snacks and drinks included. Not much to see out the window, so pick the aisle seat.

        Oh are meals included? On Virgin's website, trying to book an Economy Lite ticket, it doesn't mention anything about meals, and the onboard menu says only coffee, tea and water are complimentary.
