Eneloop Pro AA 4pk [2550mAh] $14.13 C&C or + $7.95 Shipping @ Dick Smith

120

These are the PRO Eneloops - seems you can do click & collect and save yourself the $7.95 postage which is a bit ordinary.

I think enough has been said about the Pros and Eneloops in general. So not much more to be said.

  • Bought 2packs with 20% off eBay deal last time with the Logitech G700s to be sure not run out of juice.

Jeez that mouse is soo hungry…

  • can anyone confirm these are japs

  • I got them but I don't think they are noticeably twice more better than the Chinese version although these are twice more expensive to the Chinese version.

    • DS was selling Japanese versions for very much similar prices. I know, I bought about 40 of them in AA and another 12 in AAA.

Japanese batteries have shown that they hold up better over time, providing decent runtimes and output after years of service. The Chinese batteries have shown that when new are pretty close, not the same but close, but age badly. Thats the difference.

So going back to your method of assessing worth, same price as Japanese versions, 1/2 the useful life. So the Chinese version is twice the price in reality.

These are Pros, and when the device has the ability to draw higher amps, these can deliver.

      • This is a good deal, but compare to pro vs none pro based on the price point, still not convince it is value for money.

        Pro AA
25550mha, retain 85% after 1 year can recharge 500 times
        DS sale price $14.0/4 = $3.5

        AA
2000mha, retain 70% after 5 year can recharge 2100 times
        DS sale price $10/8 =$1.25

So, capacity is 27% more, retain almost same, 4.1 times less recharge time, 2.8 times more expensive?

        • These can sustain higher amps than non pros. They are better in high drain devices. The standard can do about 3 amps IIRC, while these can provide 5.

Some devices will benefit from the higher amps. Note, not talking about mAh numbers such as 2000 or 2550. We are talking about amps.

  • Thanks OP, ordered 1, I dont think they are usually allowed through C&C, so hoping the order is processed.

  • Thanks OP

  • Good price. Got these on click and connect today. I use them in a Garmin golf GPS device.. Charging up now in the LaCrosse. They are pre-charged to a certain level.
