You might want to clean it up a bit so it scans properly.
if you have an iphone, get the app "stocard". You can scan the barcode on your screen and it "recreates" a barcode and puts it on your screen (i.e. just screenshotted what i did with this barcode http://imgur.com/qHZ04lm). You can then scan it at the checkout
@Matt P: Do you have to tell it which barcode format to use? Or if it can see bars and numbers it'll work it all out.
