Thomas the Tank Enging is coming to Melbourne for free live shows in "Thomas and Friends Christmas Surprise". Shows are on between the 5th and 20th of December. Note - no shows on Mondays.

The shows are free. Whilst you are there, you can also get free Thomas the Tank Engine train rides in Harbour Town everyday.

Bearing in mind, Live shows for Thomas earlier in the year cost between $20 and $40 I think this is a great opportunity to see a similar show at no charge.

The event is interactive and educational with a dynamic mix of performers, music and theatrical magic. Thomas’ Christmas Surprise Saturday 5 December – Sunday 20 December. Show times: 11am, 1pm and 3pm Waterfront City piazza, Docklands, Mel Ref 2ED4.

    I would have loved this when I was little. I was a big fan back when Ringo Starr was the narrator.

      We watch a lot of Thomas at our house, and I mean A LOT. We have a little boy who just loves Thomas to death. Went to see the stage show earlier in the year and he loved it. I'm currently making trips out to Waverley Gardens where a little Thomas train runs around the shopping centre for just a couple of bucks.

      Ringo is my fav too - not sure my boy worries too much about the voice over tho.
