Saw an ad in the local paper for BigW's Amazing Easter Sale. Ad says one day only on Sat 4 April 2015 for these two Dyson model:
Ad says save $200. Staticice shows $509 from Target as the only other listings. A glance at previous OzB deals for these models shows this price to be about as low as it's been (and has been this price at BigW a few times before).
Are they any good in comparison to the dc37?
Hey for $398 who's complaining?. It's not every day you get a brand new Dyson bagless vacuum cleaner for $398 even if it is a few models old.

The DC37C Origin is better value as it is newer (1 gen old) and has previously been on sale for ~$349:

The current full-size barrel model is the DC54 series.
Yeah but no retailer is currently selling the DC37C for under $500 let alone any where near $400.
