Yeah the code does seem to work with electronics

I actually received the flyer too with my previous order so I called them to see what happens since it was intended to be used by customers that were issued the code with their order.
For anyone that does have the flyer - Target is honouring the discount for customers with the recent order … but you will need to pay the full amount then call for a partial refund and quote your previous order number.
For everyone else that ordered before they disabled the code - be thankful that you got a discount that wasn't intended for you
For Target Marketing and IT - remember that if you are lazy again next time the same thing is likely to happen … and it happens quickly on ozbargain!

Argue what exactly? The fact it was clearly stated consumer electronics was excluded, the fact you never personally received the pamphlet, but they need to give it you anyway? Lordy, the entitlement..
It's not my fault Target didn't have the systems in place to handle their own terms and conditions. They later made changes to stop these purchases which should have been in place from the start of the offer. I probably won't bother following this up but thought I'd see if anyone else had questioned it.
I just argued about my wii u order and they agreed to let me order at full price then do a good will refund of the discount amount
