Ben & Jerry's are having a grand opening at Manly Beach (Sydney/NSW) on the 28th November..

We're milking the fact that we've finally landed on Aussie turf by staging an all day scoop-a-thon where our beloved co-founders, Ben & Jerry, will be scooping up FREE dollops of ice cream to the crowds!

We'd love to spread the peace, love, & ice cream so grab anyone within arms reach and hoof it on over to the Grand Opening of our brand new store on Manly beachfront to try our legendairy chunks & swirls!

    these guys were also giving out free ice cream at the food & wine fair in Sydney (Hyde park) a few weekends back as part of the SIFF.

    I am very tempted to make the trip up from Wollongong. Their ice cream is absolutely delicious. Some of the best flavours I have ever had. "New York Super Fudge Chunk"…. drooooooooooool.

      loved that as well….worked years ago at Camp Counsellors over in the USA and on our days off…would do road trips looking for Choc Chip Cookie Dough…LUSH!!!

    I've loved Ben and Jerry's for a long time now through my travels around th world. Its about time they came to Australia. Bring on Haagen Dazs now as well!

    when it comes to foods, franchises, places to go, things to eat and do, Australia truly sucks. WA sucks worst IMO

    This is what happens when people have the "Support Australian-made products" mindset.
    It's like when farmer's complain that "cheap foreign imports" are ruining their chance of selling "local produce"

    Outcome: Govt taxes foreign imports heavily = no ben&jerry, haagen dazs, and all those yummy imports (Until now).

    Haagen was in syd at one point afew years ago but shut down for some reason. I for one am very happy BJ is coming to town its bloody about time. However, I do hope they bring in more flavours for the tubs because 5 is just wayyyy not enough and the flavas they chose were also the more common flavas. I do hope they bring in their more outlandish flavours next time around

    The chocolate therapy one looks nice, i havent seen that in my frequent trips to the states, though its hard to look past Phish Food, Half Baked, and Choc Chip Cookie Dough. I am disappointed that there is no Stephen Colbert's AmeriCONE dream.

    I wonder if they are going to release an aussie one like Advance Australia Fairyfloss or something not sure how good that would be but it was the limit of the time i was going to put into it.

    Edit: And hurry up and come to melbourne darn it.
