Sorry have updated :o) Thankyou!
thats really not that great a deal, I've seen cheaper…
http://www.travel.com.au/international-airfares/cheap-flight…
emirates 1782 about the same price so i wouldn't call it a bargain.
+1
The Bargain with the Singapore Airlines deal is the "Singapore Airlines Price Promise!"
If Singapore Airlines release a lower fare in 2010 for travel to any of the 13 gateway European and UK cities within the same travel period, Singapore Airlines will refund you the difference! We also have the Emirates Earlybird from $1689 here - http://www.bestflights.com.au/cheap-flights/phone-flights-de…
yeah ill give you +1 on that but if you think about it… it really works in their favor as more people will by thinking they got the best deal possible as they will get the better deal that comes out…which means that they sell more tickets at a higher price, which means they wont have to reduce prices to sell tickets!
so thats actually -1… or -2.very smart marketing…
There are and have frequently been far cheaper flights available with other carriers to most of those cities listed. Sorry, no deal.
Gotta agree with above regarding prices. That's unless if you plan to fly in July, I dont think you'll easily find prices much better than Singapore.
128 to Singapore
216 sing to london.
July flights…2 words:
air AsiaI stand somewhat corrected, however it flies to KL and doesnt depart Sydney. That being said im doing Syd -> London return via Melb on Air Asia early next year.
damn didn't realize Air Asia didn't depart Sydney, you could still get a cheap flight to melbourne and be way under the 1700 of this 'bargain' though.
the stop overs don't really bother me to much its nice to get out and stretch your feet, and its a fair way into it too. for 1k less its worth a 2-3 hour stop over!
would love to go back over to Europe specially with the cheap flights, but family commitments just don't allow it.. . :'(
That said Singapore airlines is a quality carrier.
With the current A$, Singaore Airlines is cashing in here. Why lock it in with SIA when other can offer better price? Does anyone know if the price guarantee is automatic if SIA drop their pants later?
I don't think Singapore airline belongs to Apparel category (Unless if they sell their attendance uniform :P)
