This is a factory refurbished ASUS product. It has a 1 Year Return To Base Warranty including full parts and labour + 100% Pixel Warranty Coverage!

Refurbished Condition: A+ (As Brand New Condition)

What does that mean? It has no scratches or marks and presents itself as a brand new product.

It has been a while since we have done an ASUS refurbished deal here. I think this is a great value entry point for moderate gamers or someone who wants a desktop replacement.

These machines run cool and fairly quiet by comparison to most gaming notebooks. It has the Maxwell GTX860m which will gain you a bit better battery life, plus it is the latest technology platform from nVidia (same architecture as GTX970m and GTX980m).

My only gripe with this machine is that it doesn't have an SSD drive. We can install one for you, as it is customizable. Otherwise you can install one yourself with ease, the bracket is included with the purchase.

  • Our testing period for refurbished items is around 5 business days. Please keep that in mind with your purchase.

  • Not bad, but I feel it could be cheaper.

The only people I know who have these are private-school teenagers whose divorced dad, out of guilt, bought them a suitable laptop "for schoolwork" but the original goal was always to be able to play titles like BF4 or Assassins Creed.

When they turn ubersampling on Witcher 2 they realise that they should have sprung for the GTX970M, and in a huff they log on to League of Legends where they and their mates behave antisocially until mum says it's dinnertime.

why? $1500 pretty average price for a laptop. i mean a macbook pro costs more and less suitable for gaming

You don't know me, but I have one.
Cost me $1500 for the 765m model a year ago, still going strong with a hefty OC.

The 970m models are a lot more than this (even in Clevo form).
The G750 has awesome cooling, its a strange pairing with the 860m (2gb version) which outputs much less heat.

Be aware, this laptop is close to 5kg and is generally huge.

refurb or not at this price there should be a ssd even a hybrid solution, if much cheaper laptops can include even a 24gb ssd cache this can do it, or at least give the customer a choice between 1tb hdd or 128gb ssd

They are not building the machines to spec, there is a slot for another drive if you want to add one (like I did for OS and junk).

  • Why nobody selling Bossmonster in Australia?

Well we do. In Australia the same models are branded 'Horize'. Our website is filled with many different models and specifications. Our configurations are a bit different to the 'standard' config that is offered there, more memory, SSD etc.
