Cyberghost 5 - VPN FREE Three Months Premium License

150

Title says it all. FREE 3 months Premium key licence for Cyberghost 5, a VPN service. I've been waiting for this promo for a while and finally got it. They have Melbourne severs which is good for me and speed is great. US sever is good as well. No P2P :( for both US and AUS
Once you got a key, I think you can activate it any time until 28 Feb 2015

And please take as you need so others can have it too

All credit go to My Digital Life Forum and this OP

Please note: the first time I tried, it said out of key but few days later I tried again and got a key. so be patient, you may have to try several times.

  • Unable to simulate Japan as my country, it renders me as a US IP address instead :(

And also only getting speeds of under 100KB/s

    • Yup I tried and found out the Japanese sever will be recognise as US and Hongkong will be China mainland :).
My speed while using AUS, US, Germany is not a problem. My speedtest with VPN on is not much slower. You may want to double check you validate your key correctly

If you have a Cyberghost account from one of the previous deals and a "special" plan, which only allows you to choose a few countries like Germany, USA and Romania, you can use this code to upgrade to a "premium" membership. Be aware however that if you have more than 3 months left on your "special" plan, those will be lost!

can i use this to check facebook in China?

    • no you can't, Chinese Gov blocks VPN services

      • Chinese govt can't 'block' all VPN services. They can use keywords to block VPN related keywords and also block the most popular VPNs. You can always use a private vpn via Cisco or another company with OpenVPN via Windows to circumvent most blocks.

        • they can block the IP from a sever of the VPN provider

@legelas: That's true but not ALL VPNs. You can expect a lot of the VPNS with GUIs won't work. You should consider using a private VPN or test some VPNs that allow OpenVPN.

@machej: yes you are correct. There are ways to block VPN therefore ways to avoid to be blocked. It just a battle between Chinese Great Wall and VPN providers :)

Some VPN provider still claim their service still work in China. If you want to, I guess you just need to find a good VPN provider.
