This is just the base credit card, so no rewards program or anything of that sort.

The Rewards Plus is a different card but it's also $0 Annual Fee For Life (for the Platinum card) and $0 annual fee for the Rewards Plus.

Is this even a bargain anymore? So many free cards these days, and Citi for example gives out balance transfers more frequently than Tony Abbott promises to listen to his backbench.
Agreed. Every single place that offers credit cards offer a no fee variant now days. It is now only a deal if it gives cash backs and such.
i remembered HSBC have a BT fee , is it not in this card?

Right above this offer is the HSBC Platinum, fee free with 8 months BT offer.
what I like about this hsbc card is you can use it for instalment payments at jbhifi and some other stores, up to 12 months cmiiw
my citi BT ends soon - hmm maybe can roll to the platinum 8 months free BT - provided they can give me $20k-$30k limit
Anyone knows free annual fee credit card which has free airport lounge entry? Thanks
If you're talking about qantas lounge then non-existent (apart from ANZ black throwing in a couple of passes). For oseas lounges then again ANZ black has some coverage (check conditions) and Citi Signature has a deal with priority pass. I don't think any of the above have any free deals at the moment but from memory CB sig comes around fairly regularly.

Free for life if they like your Veda score.
Thanks for your reply. Just checked the ANZ black. They're not free :) Aiming for the citi signature but somehow i can't get my vedascore for the free annual fee… :(
