Greg Fleet is one of Australia’s most experienced and popular stand up comics.

As a NIDA trained actor Fleety made the plunge in 1987, starting out as a sit down comic (he was too nervous to stand) at the Prince Patrick Hotel in Melbourne.

Since then he has made a name for himself as a consummate performer and writer who merges theatricality and comedy in a way that has put him at the forefront of his craft internationally.

We have a few Free Guest Passes available to see Greg Fleet Live this Thursday 5 February in North Melbourne.

  I remember Fleet as pretty funny when he's "on". Always used to see him around St Kilda.

  Time is 8:10-8:45pm.. not sure if it's worth the hour journey for a half hour show. Shrugs.

    The show starts at 8pm and finishes at 11pm so you get 3 hours of comedy. Not sure why the page says 8.10 - 8.45 but will look into it

  Tim Minchin (I declare him Aussie!)
  Adam Hills
  Axis of Awesome
  Ahn Do (for being very likeable)
  John Safran (barely a comedian, but interesting docos on religion and politics).

    No shout out for Carl Barron?

    Fleet is alright but I've only seen him on the comedy gala's. He does okay in his 5minute slot.
