I tried this and I will never be back - even at 50% price the food was bad and the service was even worse. That was at the Surry Hills branch in Sydney, so others may be better.
copy that, shit as food. the atmosphere is nothing worth noting either.
I tried the TGV store at Town Hall last time this offer was up. The portions are definitely made for people from Asia (portions are a lot smaller there compared to Australia). Not worth it.
Fatfood Nation: we're not happy with a meal out unless we're absolutely stuffed afterwards.
Perhaps Sizzler would be a better restaurant for you?
Ditto.
i didn't find it bad at all..
actually it was quite good and this is a decent deal.
And Mcdonalds is the very model of fine dining.
Been there once, the food is crap for its price and portions are relatively small
so where is this coupon from exactly?
Will not go there again even if it's free. Rubbish food
Hehe.. I quite liked it there..
Serves are a bit small but if you get one for free..
Anyway.
Agreed. crap good and small portions. Don't know how they got so popular in UK and here.
Crap Store name
Crap Food
Crap Crap
Been there once and never again!
Even if it's a $1 a bowl, I still wouldn't spend my money there!
Absolute waste of money!
Only as good as chinese takeaway noodles and cost a fortune…
What's worst is their service is so bad…I would not ever go there again.
I went one in Chadstone and came out cause they messed up our order and did not even apologise or tried to help…avoid!
food not even fit for pets !
It's Japanese franchise that started in the UK - where they boil pizza and deep fry mars bars.
For the price of eating at Wagamama's, we could fly an Ozbargain member over to Bloomsbury, London to personally shove a meat pie up Alan Yau so far, that we could almost show him what it felt like every time we eat at Wagamama.
Wagamama has about as much to do with real Japanese food as a meat pie does. Every time I've gone to Japan the food has been great by and large - the standard over there is so high generally, that Wagamama wouldn't last 5 mins amongst the demanding Japanese consumer market.
I'm surprised there are so many people that hate Wagamama, I thought I was alone!
These guys are the the most expensive restaurant I've seen for what you get. $10 for whats equivalent to about 4 regular calamari. $6 for a glass of juice and $20 for rice and chicken covered in curry sauce and $10 for two medium sized spring rolls.
They do have interesting food though, but I found it very difficult to find decent food. They offer many different types of ice cream for desert, but not chocolate??
i get the feeling that they make huge profits too, staff members at Wagamama eat for $2-3 per dish.
It can also be pretty bad if you go in a group. Last time I got pushed into going there the staff made it very clear like usual that meals are made fresh and you won't receive your meals at the same time. This normally isn't a big deal, however in this situation there were people that had finished their meal before others had received theirs. I felt pretty guilty eating and finishing my food knowing someone else had to eat nothing and wait. Somehow other restaurants get their meals out at a similar time while being fresh? I don't get it..
Just a tip if anyone does go there, make use of their free green tea. :)
theres free green tea?!?!?!? r u in melb???
not even free water in melb…portion is ok but food wasnt great.
I'm in Brisbane, you can just keep asking for more and more green tea :)
the Salmon teriyaki rice was quite good and good value, the other dishes ranged from average to awful. James St in Brisbane does a good job with the Salmon, Chermside not so good.
good deal for crappy food.
