Went and bought Hobbit 2 from JB for $25 yesterday without bothering to check for cheapest prices available so failed as an ozbargainer…

Turns out Sanity currently has a 4 for $50 blu-ray and dvd sale and both Hobbit 1 and 2 (non 3D versions) is available on the listing. 2 months till Hobbit 3 is released so good chance to have a quick catchup if you're not after a final boxset.

Standard 1-7 day shipping for me came to $4 or free pickup from Milperra NSW.

        Still was going last week in stores. Also 2 for $44 (I think) for TV DVDs (eg, Game of Thrones seasons).

  This deal is on all year round so its not really a bargain though they're always adding new titles. Currently also have 3 for 55 on TV shows and certain bluray TV shows and 3D blus.

  Sanity stores are in the country/regional areas now mostly.

  its a shame that jb dont have the 2 for 20 and 2 for 30 deals anymore. with the 20% of sale they have frequently, you could get good movies for 8 bucks each.
