Found 28L Igloo Coolers for $15 at our local Woolies (Clare, SA). It seemed to be part of Australia Day stock remnants heavily discounted. Probably worth checking your local store
NB Comfortably holds a 24 Coopers Stubbies + bag of crushed ice. Excellent!
Lids are hinged and snap lock. Seems robust enough
How many were in stock when you purchased? Did you get the last one as the price tag was stuck on?
They had about ten in a "Australia Day BBQ type display". I took two, as you'd expect :-)

got an Aus day folding chair for $2.40 from woolworths down from $12 today :)
edit they also had a sleeping bag for $4 down from $20
i will check my local ww tomorrow night. hope there will be something good left for me.
