Description
Signal Care is a network signal optimizer and reset algorithm made for Android. Signal Care can reset your Network Signal , Data connection, WiFi connection etc and reduce the chances of prolonged bad reception, poor internet connection, low strength WiFi etc caused by low strength signal hook over good signal. Works for latest Lollipop (Android 5.0) too!
Signal Care automatically resets the connection and thus OS sets a good quality network signal.
Please download and test the free version before purchasing!
★Usage scenarios:
★ When network signal is low. say, below 1 bar continuously.
★ When internet connection is of poor quality at a place with 4G or 3G support.
★ When WiFi speed and strength is unexpectedly low even if you are in range.
★ When traveling, fluctuating network signals.
★ When the network signal fluctuations are draining your battery.
★ When you are expecting an important call or message.
Let Signal Care reset the network signal for you. And if there is a good quality network signal present in that area we makes sure you get it by repeated resets!
Features:
► Advanced Signal Resetting algorithm: Resets network signal and network data connection in one click.
► Automatic Signal Care: Different modes for automatic network signal maintenance.
Smart Mode: Listens the network signal fluctuations and check if the network signal is gone below 'threshold signal value' for more than a 'threshold trigger interval', If this condition is met then 'Signal Care' algorithm runs and make sure the best network signal in the area is set. e.g., For a 'threshold signal value' = 1 bar, and 'threshold trigger interval' = 1 minute. If network signal power goes below '1 bar' for '1 minute' Signal Care automatically triggers the algorithm.
Time Mode: Runs 'Signal Care' algorithm for every 'time mode interval'. e.g., For 'time mode interval' = 30 minutes. Signal Care algorithm gets automatically triggered after every 30 minutes.
► Signal Graph Analysis: Informative graph plots helping users to learn their network signal and find blind spots.
Signal power vs time (Live)
Signal power vs time (History)
Signal bars vs time
Data connection type vs time
WiFi speed vs time
► Signal Info saver: Detailed information on network signal, savable for future reference. Signal info includes:
Time of saving, Longitude of location, Latitude of location, Current location, Network Operator, Network Technology, Signal power (in asu or dB), Signal bars, Data connection type, Mobile data technology, WiFi SSID, WiFi RSSI, WiFi Speed.
► Signal History: Automatic and manually saved network signal info list.
► Signal Care Logger: Logs containing details of all the activities done by Signal Care.
Signal Care is not a signal booster, Signal care is an helper application that can reset signal automatically and force OS to find good signal in the physical location.
Permissions explained:
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION : Signal Care requires this permission to get location of the signal tower. We don't use your location data. We respect everyone's privacy.

    AAAAAAA HAHAHAHA!

      I concur!

Normally would have the same reaction but reception within my home is horrible so willing to try any far fetched methods :(

      • I'd be careful then.. Sounds like it'll reset when signal is low - might cut you off mid call!!

        • That's also a good point, I'll give it a go for a couple days and see how things are!

        • +1

I installed it, and you can choose whether to let it reset automatically or just do it manually. I tried it once and manually reset it, and it did go from 2 bars to full, so it does work - though the disclaimer is that I was inside a building, in the middle of the city where there are many towers (it must've chosen a sub-optimal tower, or I moved away from the optimal tower). It also reset my wifi connection etc, and took about 20 seconds to complete the whole operation.

May try it at home where I get ~1 bar of reception and see how it goes…

        • @highwind: My phone goes from 2 bars to full and I didn't even use an app!

        • @Diji1: Yeah, I only really installed it coz it was free. Didn't do anything at home (poor reception area) as expected. Essentially, it does the same as switching on flight mode then reconnected lol.

    11 dollars normally?!
    Who would pay this normally?!

    • no body!

      • +2

        I'm a nobody… I'm just a virtualization person

    • I think you meant who would pay this much if they are normal?! ;P

I was just wondering how this would work out with the Optus "lets call it 1 meg every time you reset" data measuring :-/

    • +1

Dealing directly w/ Optus wins me 1KB min.chunk billing.

  • does anyone know if this program is any good ??

  • The paid version has less permissions than the trial version, which wants bookmarrks and a few others. This deal gives you the free version,t hen unlocks it so Id assume all the permissions remain. No idea why they are different, but its unlikely to be app related.

Surely the Android algorithm itself should do what this app does?

    • Should. This is Google we're talking about though.

    • +1 certainly by ver 4.x.x it should…

  • "THIS IS A 7 DAYS FULL FEATURE TRIAL VERSION OF SIGNAL CARE PRO."

So maybe it'll only work for 7 days?

    • +2

NO, It is the trial version and you will upgrade it to pro version by entering the promo code.
The trial version (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hapago.trial_s…) is limited to 7 days so to get the pro version for free, rather than paying $11.30 to buy the PRO version, download the trial version of the app from google play and go to the menu, click "PROMO" and enter the promo code, "appoftheday". Then click OK and restart the app, then it will say that you have upgraded to the pro version witch you can buy it from the link bellow:
      https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hapago.sc

    • If this app were really that good and useful why wouldn't Google buy it and integrate it into the OS?

This is one of the reviews "Just another gimmick to con you into buying some thing your smartphone already does."

      • I don't know .. There are a lot of really good apps that google should buy.
Quickpic for example is way better & faster image viewer than the stock gallery that your phone already have.

Some of my favourite review quotes:
"I don't recommend this app if you're in Tasmania."
"When im travelig to somewhere, sometimes my signal is trouble, but after i installed this app the problem is disolved"

    Done! Thanks OP

Holy wow has this increased my data speeds. My wifi signal is on 2 bars in my bedroom and is normally fairly slow. Now its just as quick as if i was in the other room.

    • Really?!

This thing just sounds like a tablet-age version of SoftRAM.

  • Missed it! Any good?

    • Not expired. The code still appears to be working.

  • This shouldn't be marked as expired, I just downloaded it and it worked fine with the appoftheday code.

    • Updated, Thanks!

      • Yep App of the Day rolls over 11:00 Adelaide time here.

  • I can confirm the appoftheday code works, but im still think this is a bit of a 'snake oil app' which doesn't actually do anything.

    • So like most tweaks then.

  • After I run SigCare I lost my mobile connection, have to switch airplane mode on and off.

  • I can not find PROMO on menu
