The Bug Butcher is an intense action shooter, wrapped in stylistic 2D art, and smeared with juvenile humor where timing and fierce reflexes are paramount in protecting your fragile squishy body! The gameplay has an extremely simple core mechanic that is easy to understand, but hard to master. Plus, who doesn’t love a universe where you wield a beefy arsenal of military grade weaponry.

The core mechanics hold old ties from the classic arcade shooters, where you shoot vertically, but with modern day twists. You are Harry, a brash and tenacious exterminator who has a knack for decimating bugs.

Harry’s current assignment takes him to the infested futuristic research facility on planet Zoit. The surviving and dwindling number of scientists employed him for his slaughtering skills. Harry’s mission: survive until the decontamination of the building is complete, hoard coins like his life depended on it, and protect the scientists at all costs. Watch out for the spiders as they have a particular fondness for rubber encased scientists. After landing, you will move from room to room through the facility blasting rockets, lasers, and wielding the power of lighting upwards at anything not human.

    Lol. I can install on a Vodafone tv… 6+ years old

    But not on my tablet, or Xiaomi phone which has 8 cores and 8gb of ram

      Yep, installs fine on my Vodafone TV and my Galaxy Note 3 but not my Motorola g84 5G.

    I don't think the game has been updated in some time (abandoned by the developer it seems) and therefore won't run on newer versions of Android. I remember that it would consistently crash when I used to play it on my Ayn Odin.

    Fun game if you are old enough to have enjoyed games like "Pang" Or "Super Buster Bros". Disappointing that the Steam version of the game isn't available for sale in Australia.

      You can easy get a key for it that activates on an Australian steam account tho.

        Nice - thank you. I never realized that Steam keys for it were still available and never bothered to look on third party sites. I didn't think they would activate here in Australia.

        $11 for a casual game like this is a bit rich for me. I'll wait for a discount.

    I had the same issue with unsupported device on S23 Ultra.
    Bypassed it by installing using aurora store.
    Works perfectly.

      It's a recent change on android, previously they just reduced search visibility, since Android 14 they decide for you that you don't want old apps.
      You could still grab the apk and install it under adb, a bit of flaffing about though.
      adb install —bypass-low-target-sdk-block

    Just downloaded it and played for a while, and I deleted the game already, the main problem for me is that the position of the move button is too tiny, I can’t move smoothly and effectively.
