$11 isn't even normal price these days, most have everlasting promos for $9,and as others have said there are $4 deals on
not really a deal for .AU domains. The Godaddy only charged me AUD $20 for 2-year .com.au registrations and they are more reputable for maintaining domain names.
I know probably it is an Australian local business but it does not make any difference in domain names.
I'm sorry but GoDaddy isn't reputable in a good way if you do some research :(

Maybe you were right but I wrote "a more reputable" in my last statement. However, if you try other poor service providers, you would know how good the GoDaddy is (was using IXWebhosting and it was terrible on my own experiences). I am no associated with Godaddy, I just do the domain registration there and use CloudFlare to do the DNS and reverse proxy accelerations (the virtual host was terrible @ Godaddy).
I am tired to do the research as there is no best provider.
I thought Godaddy would be good enough for me.

With respect, if loss-leading domains weren't the standard, these prices would be incredible. This is pretty much cost price for an AU domain.
Unfortunately as it is, the domain registration industry is plagued by loss-leading to get unsuspecting customers into incredibly crappy hosting. For savvy buyers though, that does mean some good value domain regos.
All things considered it's definitely a risky business move to try and compete on price like this. And unfortunately this is not the place to advertise your wares, unless your making a loss.

Yes, it appears that way. There is definitely a valid SSL in place (GeoTrust) and has been for years. I'll investigate why that appeared as it's certainly not a positive image!
