Good deal on the 8TB dual drive containing 2x 4TB WD Red NAS drives. Connection is by USB 3.0, so transfer speed is blazing fast but it can't connect directly to a router. Options for RAID 0, RAID 1, or JBOD.

  Might be able to order this faster from Amazon than office works. I've been waiting 8 days for a couple of 4tb hard drives to arrive from the warehouse

  Hmmm…. least its not through WD/Digital River. I'm still suffering shock from that absolute failure ;).

  I'm still hard pressed to order/buy ANY WD product, but who knows… time heals all wounds right? :)

      Never said anything about the actual product (which I'm also a fan of).
      Service however??? OMG. You obviously didnt try and buy the deal I'm referring to. A terrible PR exercise from WD :(.

        Yeah I didn't buy anything from the WD store. When I say service it was dealing with WD direct when I had a faulty adapter. They FedEx one out to me using overnight express
