Lavazza Minu Coffee Machine $59.99 Save $48.26 at IGA

51

I saw this at the IGA supermarket at Deagon in QLD and it looked like a pretty good deal. It is currently $100 at Dick Smith and $79 at Target. I am not sure if this is at other IGAs?

One of the more compact and attractive pod machines out there in this price range and the reviews seem OK as well.

    From the GadgetGuy review:

There’s no button here for short, and no button for long, though. If you like a certain length, you merely push the knob into its pouring position, starting the process, and pull it back to stop when you’re done.

I'm probably too easily distracted for this to work reliably for me. Other capsule machines I've used have 3 buttons that you can program to varying volumes, meaning I don't have to concentrate on pouring the correct amount.

    • I didn't notice that. I have a Caffitaly S14 machine at home which allows you to select different sizes and find the 30ml single espresso tastes better than the 60ml double espresso. On a side note although the S14 received a pretty poor review I quite like its coffees!

These are often on sale at Coles at $49.99.

  • Like dasher86 said, wait for coles sale $49. The pod capsules (next to machine in photo) at $9.90 is a good price assuming there are other flavours. The pods are rarely on sale.

Still $49 at Coles, until Jan 20 I think

Pods may be on special at some stores? I picked up half a dozen boxes last Wed at $7/ea, but Coles Online shows $11.92

    • If this is 49 at Coles I'm negging

    • Yes I saw this machine at Coles yesterday at $49, usually $99, I've never seen these pods on sale though. Where did you see them reduced?

Also, if you see a box with free capsules stickers on it, get that one, then fill out the form online and 32 capsules (a sampler mix) will eventually be sent to you.

I picked them up at the West Ryde Coles. There was no signage indicating the lower price, it just scanned up at $7… at which point I went back and grabbed a few more boxes!

There are always plenty of cheap pod machines. Its the razor/inkjet model.
