If u want a cheaper device, get a nokia limia 530, can be had for under $40
Say what?
@pointless comment:
That is a windows phone, as usual we are talking about android, as usual mangoes and oranges comment.@sn809: i was talking about phones in general. I cannot see anyhting indicating that this is an android only discussion. I think u are tryin to start arguments!
@sn809: uh so this makes no sense. And its a pretty big call to attempt to speak on behalf of 'everyone'
@pointless comment:
Really so why dont you tell me when you last bought a phone with out checking which OS it is based on? The comment makes sense I think you are getting personal because I am just pointing out the obvious, no one buys a phone without checking the OS.@sn809: i bought the nokia lumia 530. Never used a windows phone before. I figured it couldnt be too different from my iphone. Turns out i was right!
@sn809: uh so this makes no sense again. The lumia has a music player and app store, obviously not iTunes though
@sn809: couldn't be too different does not mean identical omg
@Glozza210: omg indeed
@sn809: hmmm guess i just dont care about phones as much as you. If they can make calls and SMS im happy enough. Thanks for the pointless lesson and clearing up the obvious.
@sn809: I actually have no idea if you're just trolling now or if you're actually trying to teach someone something that they already clearly know.
app store can be both a general and specific term. Yes it can refer to Apple's App Store but it can also refer to the general distribution of applications in any platform.
Please learn the correct information before you try and teach others.
Thank you.
@sn809: Thanks for the neg btw
@Glozza210: i actually think they are serious… Like they are some sort of over zealous self appointed phone educator who goes around stating obvious facts about phones to people on the internet.
I hope the next lesson is more advanced because im finding this online course a bit basic - and the teacher is quite surly

These are decent cheap handsets
This has been around for more than a month and when I checked it (over a month ago) there was no stock in Sydney and all stores I called said they won't be getting more stock.
P.S. Limited stock apparently can include returns/faulty-devices that are not available for sale.Great price for a great phone (I'm using one right now) but there is clearly no stock available.
Great phone
^ that
Just bought the second Gen after using the 1st for over year. Liking 2nd Gen and I think it's worth the extra spend!
What differences other than screen size and microSD slot make it worth the extra spend over the 1st gen? I'm currently using the 1st gen so I didn't really have much incentive to go for the 2nd gen as specs are almost the same (aside from the aforementioned).
If you already have the 1st gen, upgrading to gen 2 is almost pointless imo. Unless you want a sd card slot and the bigger screen.
I bought my dad the v2, i have the v1 since it came out. The v2 is better no doubt, but not worth throwing away a v1.
The 1GB ram worry me, will it cause lag?
The camera is much better and the 2nd Gen has a micro SD card slot while the 1st gen only had the micro sd slot in the 4G version. Same processor and memory options.
Better Camera is soooo worth it. Gen 1 had one of the worst cameras I have ever seen.Might be my imagination but I think the 3G reception is also better - where I stay the Gen 1 had many times no signal on Telstra and almost not on Optus a lot of the time.
Great phone, note that 8gb is very limited. Android Lollipop coming to it any day now
Spend a little more - get the v2 imo.
