I have a pair of Razer Electra and for the price they are brilliant. They're on par with the $150 range headphones.
That said, they're better for music than gaming as the inline mic is just stupid, and you can get a really good pair of phones for cheap from Amazon.
Are they on Par with $150 Beats or something like the HD558? Because the 558 is a great set of cans bang on that $150 price point, which I bet my life saving are a significant improvement over the Razers.
@algy: Definitely better than the $150 Beats (but that's not hard). I doubt they'd stand up against the HD558s but I guess it depends what you want. Electras aren't heavy bass but great all round and fully closed ear, but they don't stand up against my ATH-M50s (although they're not far off)
But considering that you can get the Electras for about $55 brand new, they're some of the best headphones at the price range if you don't mind the oversized odd look (wouldn't go wearing them in public)
@GunnerMcDagget: Actually, Beats did get better in terms of their performance recently.
Though, getting a closed headphone wouldn't be bad, compared to getting an open one since sound do leak outside with open headphones. Not to mention, you can hear noises from outside.
@algy: If you are in a place where you should be quiet, i.e. Home with family and stuff, it's better to go closed. That being said i do own HD600.
@AznMitch: I use the Electras while doing house work/mowing the lawn. The enclosed phones make it great for isolating the noise. While just listening to music I use the ATH-M50s as they have more detail.

Same story as the others: I had the keyboard in my cart, tried my code 5 or 6 times but it wasnt working, so I emptied my cart and went back on the keyboard page just to find out it was already sold out (7min after the sale started).
I had my keyboard in the cart before the sale and at 1:00pm i tried the code, it would never work then it was sold out 5 minutes later, pretty slumped about it.

@Shambler: I would've been out and done with my order in a minute had I known the codes were switched, I set up my billing address, shipping address, my account details already logged in, but ultimately missed out.

Every year i am disappointed in these sales, websites don't load, website crashes, code's are sometimes invalid, things become out of stock 1 minute before or after the sale time. It's really dodgy… :/

If you're open to suggestion, I have the Logitech G600 (basically logitech equivalent to a naga) and I love it, the white looks awesome, and its rgb too, definitely would recommend anyone to get one.

Have the naga epic, swtor naga and all of them are long in the tooth so really wanted to try the new design with mech switches as I didnt get to try the 2012 refresh

Seems a failure. Website overloaded since sale started. Unable to add 'in-stock' items to cart and then they are out of stock when it finally works a few hours later. Hope someone here managed to get a decent bargain.
Nothing on my part. Very disappointed, I was there the first minute the sale went online, but the website was crawling, codes did not work, stock was sold within minutes.
