  They list mechanical switches… ?

  The entire reason I got the DeathAdder v2 wired (not the essential) was for its optical switches, as I was constantly getting (cheap) mice around the 8 month mark doing ghost double clicks as the tiny metal switch wore out. but the optical in the razor have been going strong 2.8 years.

  Mine chews through AAA or AA batteries like crazy. So I got rechargeables. I do use it for 8-10 hours a day (work and play). Also often fails to reconnect after coming of standby and I gotta open the shell for it to reconnect. But maybe it’s my USB switch….
