Can you furnish us with some links? Astraweb looks to be $50 for 1TB block which is substantially worse than this deal.I can't even find a Newshosting block plan.

Used to use newsgroups alot until all the take downs of shows, etc. Now unless you grab something straight away you can forget trying to get it the next day etc.
Go for a European Usenet provider… as long as the head office and the servers are located outisde of the USA, DMCA take downs are irrelevant to an EU provider…

Easynews is still my usenet provider of choice. Highly recommend and have been using them for about 10 years now.
astraweb & newshosting provide better deals than the one advertised here.
