  • Excellent, I love Paragon Partition Manager 8.5 but it doesn't work on Vista/W7, this looks much better.

    Thanks for the find!

  • Downloading now at 1400kbps. Thanks

  • Already have and a great software.

Had created my partitions are logical by mistake and was able to convert them to physical with ease.

  • Perfect timing, on a night when I'm having big problems with both Acronis DD & Ghost whilst I'm shuffling some partitions around, this is a godsend! Many thanks! :)

How does this compare to Partition Magic v8.05?

    • Well, it won't trash your HDD for starters! ;)

I'm not being facetious either, last two times I used PM it completely screwed my HDD, nil recovered data! This product is a bit slower than others I've used, but did a sterling job last night for me! :)

  • Thanks for this. Cant wait to test out how it will partition without interrupting windows. Still probably needs a restart though

  • I just picked up a new laptop, which happens to need repartitioning (don't like having just one big C: drive!) so this is perfect timing. That, plus I need something that works in Vista (I've got Partition Magic 8.05, but I don't think it's Vista compatible).

    Thanks for posting this deal

I tend to prefer Gparted (open source ) for this kind of thing. Pretty much does almost the same thing
    http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php

    • Any reason Partion Manager should be better than the free Gparted folks?

Tried partitioning my new laptop with this software, during the process computer hanged, then i couldn't even start windows, had to reinstall windows and other software's again, I lost important files as well, THIS SOFTWARE IS A PIECE OF CRAP, NO WONDER THEY ARE GIVING IT FOR FREE.

Worked beautiful for me. Took almost 2 hours tho. Just left it over there, and come back with 3 drives instead 320GB in one.

  • how is this any different from partition magic 8 from y2003? I don't get why we need anything more than that.
