    i prefer my spreadsheets

    • Each to their own but…
      - Spreadsheets don't pay you interest
      - They don't automatically reconcile receipts to minimise tax
      - They automate the distribution of revenue to dedicated accounts
      - They don't automatically chase up unpaid invoices
      - They don't answer the phone when you call them

      Jokes aside, each to their own, Thriday isn't for everyone.

  • Considering shifting away from xeros crazy $90 month plan, however not sure what I will use for payroll. Anyone have any cost effective suggestions that make using two systems worth it?

    For BAS is thriday a simple check and click form like xero?

      Yes, there is a check and click lodgment option for BAS.

      There are 3 options for BAS.
      1. Export the GST for and fill in BAS manually - easy and free.
      2. Check and click direct lodgment from Thriday to the ATO, which is $57 per lodgment, which is super easy.
      3. Done-for-you service for $197 where our accounting team go through everything with a fine-tooth comb and lodge for you

      • Will there be a price increase with payroll? Xero is great but costly.

        • Yes, we haven't made any firm decisions on pricing for payroll, other than we will always be better value than Xero, but payroll will cost more.

    • It's true, nearly every B2B product competes with Excel in some way. What a product!
      * In this case, Excel doesn't pay you interest
      * Excel can't move money between accounts for you
      * Excel won't reconcile your receipts to your transactions automatically
      * Excel won't talk to you on the phone if you need help…
